Shipping Policy

We’re so happy you chose Artistic Foliage! Below is our shipping policy with all the details you need to know.

1. Is it safe to ship plants?

  • Each plant is packaged with protective materials to safeguard from damage during transit. Seasonal temperature control such as heat or cold packs will be added to shipping costs when necessary (typically Dec-March for heat packs, June-August for cold packs).
  • To ensure the health and safety of our plants, we closely monitor weather conditions both at our facility and the destination. If extreme temperatures or adverse weather are expected, we may delay shipping to prevent potential damage.

2. Where do you ship?

  • We ship to the lower 48 United States only at this time. We do not ship plants to PO Boxes due to extended transit times and courier limitations.

3. When will my order ship?

  • Orders are processed within 7 business days unless otherwise noted.
  • Orders ship out on Mondays and Tuesdays. Orders placed after 4pm on Monday will ship the following Monday. This ensures packages are not delayed at the post office over the weekend. Local shipments may be an exception to this rule if delivery can be made by Friday.
  • You will receive an order confirmation email when your order is placed.
  • You will receive an email with a tracking link once your order is processed.
  • Shipping is only available in the continental United States.

4. How will my order arrive?

  • All live plants will go out 2 day mail via UPS or USPS depending on location. Shipping costs vary based on package size, weight, and destination and will be calculated at checkout.
  • Non-live plant orders will go out via UPS or USPS Priority depending on location.
  • If you order plants and pottery or candles, the packages will likely ship separately to ensure the safety of the plants.

5. What do I do when my plants arrive?

  • Please be ready to receive and unpack your plants promptly.
  • Upon arrival, inspect each plant carefully. Sometimes leaves or stems get bent or damaged. This is unavoidable and is not a cause for alarm.
  • Your plants were just repotted with the appropriate soil mix so no repotting is necessary at this time.

6. What do I do if my plant doesn’t look good?

  • If your plant arrives in an unsatisfactory condition, please take clear photos within 6 hours of delivery and reach out to us at customerservice@artisticfoliage.com. Please include clear photos of the damage, the box and the packing slip. We’re happy to assist you. Remember, sometimes leaves or stems get bent or damaged. This is unavoidable with shipping and is not a cause for alarm.
